About Me
Hello! My name is Thulfekar Issam Alshreese, and I’m a 23-year-old game design and scripting student in my third year at Södertörns University in Stockholm, Sweden. I’ve been passionate about video games for as long as I can remember, with my earliest memories being in playing Pokémon Ruby on the Game Boy Advance. Gaming has shaped my childhood and continues to be one of my biggest passions today, fueling my ambition to create and contribute to the games I once only dreamed of playing.
My path to game development wasn’t a straightforward one. Like many, I graduated high school during the Covid-19 pandemic, unsure of my future and struggling to find my direction. For a year, I was at home, working various jobs—from packing groceries at an online food store to working in fast food, eventually landing a job at a grocery store where I’ve worked for the past three years. While I’m grateful for the experiences and stability those roles brought me, I always felt like something was missing. I realized that life is too short to settle for work that doesn’t spark joy or drive.
This led me to a crucial decision: if I was going to spend my life working, I wanted it to be in a field I truly loved. That’s when I turned to creating games, first by exploring programming, which later inspired me to apply to university and dive fully into the world of game development. Since then, I’ve felt a deep connection to this field. Every project, every challenge, every chance to collaborate with others has only strengthened my resolve and passion.
Today, I’m proud to say that I’m on the path I want to follow. My goal is to create games that bring joy, challenge minds, and inspire others as much as games have done for me. I look forward to a future where I can share my passion, skills, and creativity with a team that feels the same excitement for this industry.
